This project holds a special place in my heart, as Elisa Rocha isn’t just a client—she’s a dear childhood friend. Designing for someone so close comes with its unique challenges. While knowing Elisa so well gave me insights into her personality, it also brought the responsibility of truly capturing her vision and essence.
The idea for the logo emerged during a heartfelt conversation with Elisa, where she expressed her desire to transform lives through teaching. The butterfly became a central symbol, representing growth, transformation, and freedom—perfectly aligned with her mission. The real challenge was incorporating the elements of reading, writing, speaking, and listening into the design to form the butterfly’s shape.
When it came to the color palette, the choice was clear. Elisa’s vibrant personality and colorful soul inspired a dynamic and lively selection that reflects her energy and passion.
Hearing her say, “You made me cry—you translated what I didn’t even know I wanted into a shape that is so me,” made every moment of this creative journey worthwhile.
The slogan was later changed to "Inglês com propósito e transformação" (English with purpose and transformation).
